The night was as beautiful as yesterday. We had a cool breeze off the ocean, clear skies, and a bright full moon. And then we woke up to this scene. It's going to be a great day for sightseeing.
It's morning and we have high tide
====== Update
Clear skies gave us the opportunity for some "do-over shots" of many of yesterday's pictures. We re-traced the Park Loop Road route and then explored downtown Bar Harbor. Here are some pictures that gave fresh views.

Sand Beach
It was fun to watch the waves form and break on the beach. They crashed loudly.
Cliffs
Wave action at the foot of the cliffs was captivating.
Thunder Hole
We arrived at high tide. The wave action was much different than yesterday's. The thunder was just as loud, but the splash plume was lower than at low tide.

Bar Harbor
Bar Harbor seems to be a tourist town with a fishing heritage. We found the merchants to be friendly and helpful. There were no parking meters on the downtown streets.

Evening
We planned a dinner that would prove we could really "rough it". Hot dogs cooked over an open fire should do it ... and here's the fire that made it possible. Dick had fun rewriting all the Boy Scout fire building rules.
